Spiritual Bouquet for the Pope
January 2015: On the recommendation of Father Pollard, students created and sent a photo album to the Holy Father documenting a ‘spiritual bouquet’ of prayers and charitable works that students have completed first semester. The album was created for Pope Francis on the occasion of his birthday and the Christmas season, both in December. The students hoped to receive an Apostolic blessing from the Holy Father which they did in late January 2015. Corpus Christi School received a letter from the Nunciature in the Vatican’s name, thanking them for the spiritual bouquet and imparting the Apostolic Blessing. The students created an album of pictures showing the prayers and charitable works that were completed first semester.
